Steps to become fully active at Real in Oregon:

1️⃣ COMPLETE A REAL JOIN APPLICATION
Complete a Real Application by signing the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) and paying the Application Fee using the steps below.
You will need the following items to complete your application:
- License Number(s) and Expiration Date(s)
- MLS and Board information
- Sponsor name and email
- A photo of the front of your Driver’s License
- Payment information for the Application Fee
***Remember your login credentials that you create during the Application since this will be your login information for reZEN once your application has been approved.

If you are advertising as a Team, please complete the form here (if you have not already) in order to record and setup that up properly with Real.
2️⃣ TRANSFER YOUR LICENSE TO REAL

Only a principal broker can add or transfer a licensee into a business, so we will handle this process for you immediately upon completion of application and fees, unless otherwise specified in your application.
After completing the above steps:
Your Designated Broker, Jason Walchli, will send an email confirmation of the license transfer, as well as information on next steps for board and MLS affiliation.
Once your license is affiliated with Real and your Join Application is approved you'll receive the Welcome, Next Steps email.
New to Real? Look out for your welcome email once your license transfer is complete. This will include your Post-Onboarding Instructions, details on our Onboarding class, link to our Marketing Center and more!
Already a Real agent? Please contact the Onboarding Team and they will add your license to your existing reZEN account.

4️⃣ UPDATE YOUR MARKETING/ADVERTISING
Please review all Oregon advertising requirements here:
Licensees are legally responsible for their own compliance with these guidelines, though principal brokers can conduct audits and reviews of advertising.
OAR defines advertising as all meaningful communication designed to attract a client, including print, signs, phone calls, videos, websites, emails, etc.
In all instances of advertising in the state of Oregon, an advertisement must include:
- Legal Brokerage Name (Real Broker, LLC) or the preferred marketing name (Real Broker)
- Advertising that includes the agent’s name must use the agent’s licensed name, a common derivative of their first name and full last name, or an alternative name registered with OREA
- Real’s logo
- If on a team, the word “team or “group” must be included - make sure to follow the other team specifics in Section 7 of the OAR rules.

5️⃣ TRANSFER YOUR ACTIVE LISTINGS TO REAL
If you are re-listing your active listing(s) with Real Broker, please submit forms electronically to ORsign@therealbrokerage.com for signature using an electronic signature platform.

7️⃣ JOIN THE WORKVIVO STATE SPACE
Workvivo is our online Real community hub for Real agents. Each State/Province has a Group space for you to to easily see updates and access meetings and resources. You can also join others groups to interact with other agents at Real, especially for referrals and tips.

8️⃣ VISIT AND BOOKMARK THE REAL KNOWLEDGEBASE
The Real KnowledgeBase is our collection of digital articles, including FAQs, how-to guides, and tutorials, that you can search to learn more and understand all the resources and benefits of Real.
9️⃣ DOWNLOAD THE REAL APP
To do so, go to www.joinreal.com/app on your mobile device. You’ll be prompted to download the app. You can also search for Real reZEN through the app store on your mobile device.
**Important, you will use the login information you created in Step 1 to log into your agent application.
