How do I transfer my Arkansas license to Real?

Welcome to Real!

Steps to become fully active at Real in Arkansas:

  1. Complete a Real Join Application
  2. Transfer Your License to Real
  3. Facilitate Your Board and MLS Transfers
  4. Update Your Marketing/Advertising
  5. Transfer Your Active Listings to Real
  6. Register for Training
  7. Join the Workvivo State Space
  8. Bookmark the Real Knowledge Base

1️⃣ COMPLETE A REAL JOIN APPLICATION

Complete a Real Application by signing the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) and paying the Application Fee using the steps below.

You will need the following items to complete your application:

  • License Number(s) and Expiration Date(s)
  • MLS and Board information
  • Sponsor name and email
  • A photo of the front of your Driver’s License
  • Payment information for the Application Fee

***Remember your login credentials that you create during the Application since this will be your login information for reZEN once your application has been approved.

2️⃣ TRANSFER YOUR LICENSE TO REAL

TO TRANSFER YOUR ACTIVE LICENSE TO REAL:  

You will receive the AREC Real Estate License Transfer Form from your Onboarding Coordinator. Put your License Number and  Name in the appropriate fields in Part I, and complete all of Part II. Rachel Vann, AR Designated Broker, will date the form.  You will receive a copy to send to your current broker to complete the rest of Part I and sign. 

Please send the fully completed form to your Onboarding Coordinator to place in your file.  

Once the transfer form is fully complete, it must be mailed or delivered to AREC immediately at the address below to serve as a temporary license, along with the transfer fee. To expedite processing, we strongly recommend that you hand deliver the form if possible.

********* PLEASE NOTE!!!!!  IMPORTANT!!  NOT DOING THIS WILL DELAY YOUR LICENSE TRANSFER. 

 

If your AREC license transfer form is electronically signed by all parties, AREC will also need the Certificate of Completion from your previous brokerage and Real Broker to be turned in with your license transfer form.  You can get this by clicking the link at the top of the form.  

 

The temporary license will be valid for only thirty (30) days from the date it was mailed or delivered to AREC, with the new principal broker’s signature, and ONLY when AREC has received notice of licensees’ termination by the previous principal broker. 

MLS AND BOARD:
You will need to take your AREC Transfer Form to your Board/MLS, as that is what will allow the MLS to transfer over your affiliation to Real Broker.

 

TO AFFILIATE AN INACTIVE LICENSE WITH REAL: 

You will receive the AREC Real Estate License Activation Form from your Onboarding Coordinator.  Please fully complete Part I and sign the form.  Return it to your Onboarding Coordinator for the AR broker to complete Part II and sign.  

 

Once the Activation Form is fully complete, it must be mailed or delivered to AREC immediately, with proof of completed CE or post-license education requirements, if applicable, at the address below along with the transfer fee. To expedite processing, we strongly recommend that you hand deliver the form if possible.

NEWLY LICENSED AGENTS: 

As a new licensee, you will need to submit the Salesperson Candidate Information Form furnished to you by Pearson VUE when you passed the exam.  

  • Please send it to Rachel Vann, AR Broker in Charge, prepared via e-signature platform to the following email: arbroker@therealbrokerage.com.
  • The AR Broker will complete and sign Section Two of the Form. 
  • The AR Broker will then submit the executed Form to AREC. 
  • Once the license is issued, we can approve your application.

 

If you are applying as an Executive Broker, please reach out to Rachel Vann at arbroker@therealbrokerage.com for a separate form that is needed.

 

After completing the above steps:

Your Designated Broker and Onboarding Coordinator will confirm the transfer with the Arkansas Real Estate Commission. You are responsible for joining or transferring your membership with your board and MLS. Please obtain the proper membership forms from your online board and MLS. Once filled out, send to your new broker at arbroker@therealbrokerage.com for signature.

Already a Real agent? Please contact Real Support, and our support team will add your license to your existing reZEN account.

 

3️⃣ FACILITATE YOUR MLS AND BOARD TRANSFERS

4️⃣ UPDATE YOUR MARKETING/ADVERTISING

Please review all Arkansas advertising requirements here:

AR State Requirements: In all instances of advertising in the state of Arkansas, an advertisement must include:

  • Legal state brokerage name; Real Broker
  • One of the three following must be included and must (at a minimum) be the same size as the agent/team's contact information:
  • Brokerage phone number: 501-406-0572
  • Brokerage office address, OR
  • Principal Broker’s name

  • Real’s logo Optional but required if you place your logo.
     

    If on a team

  • The team name AND Real Broker in the same FONT COLOR AND SIZE
    Team names, personal names and DBA names shall not be displayed in a manner that they can be construed as a real estate firm name.
    The name of the real estate firm may be embedded in a logo as long as the firm name is otherwise displayed in compliance with this section.

5️⃣ TRANSFER YOUR ACTIVE LISTINGS TO REAL

If you are re-listing your active listing(s) with Real Broker, please submit forms electronically to ARsign@therealbrokerage.com for signature using an electronic signature platform.

  3. Attend Navigating Real's Technology to learn how to effectively use Real Signature, Real Academy, and Workvivo to help you work smarter and more efficiently.
     
  4. Attend Marketing Training - Mondays @ 1PM ET to learn about the many marketing resources available to help you build your brand. 
     
  5. Attend Real's Benefits and Programs to understand what is offered and how to access benefits and programs exclusive to Real Agents.
     
  6. Attend Ways to Earn Income at Real to learn more about Real’s wealth-building opportunities like stock and equity, Elite Agent status, revenue share, and more.
     

7️⃣ JOIN THE WORKVIVO STATE SPACE

Workvivo is our online Real community hub for Real agents. Each State/Province has a Group space for you to to easily see updates and access meetings and resources. You can also join others groups to interact with other agents at Real, especially for referrals and tips.

9️⃣ DOWNLOAD THE REAL APP

To do so, go to www.joinreal.com/app on your mobile device. You’ll be prompted to download the app. You can also search for Real reZEN through the app store on your mobile device.

**Important, you will use the login information you created in Step 1 to log into your agent application.
