How do I transfer my Arizona license to Real?

Welcome to Real!

Steps to become fully active at Real in Arizona:

  1. Complete a Real Join Application
  2. Transfer Your License to Real
  3. Facilitate Your Board and MLS Transfers
  4. Update Your Marketing/Advertising
  5. Transfer Your Active Listings to Real
  6. Register for Training
  7. Join the Workvivo State Space
  8. Bookmark the Real Knowledge Base
  9. Download the Real App

1️⃣ COMPLETE A REAL JOIN APPLICATION

Complete a Real Application by signing the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) and paying the Application Fee using the steps below.

You will need the following items to complete your application:

  • License Number(s) and Expiration Date(s)
  • MLS and Board information
  • Sponsor name and email
  • A photo of the front of your Driver’s License
  • Payment information for the Application Fee

***Remember your login credentials that you create during the Application since this will be your login information for reZEN once your application has been approved.

2️⃣ TRANSFER YOUR LICENSE TO REAL

You can change your employing broker via the Online License Renewal System in one of two ways:

  • If you are also completing your online license renewal, simply click on the Change Employer button when asked if you want to (1) continue with this same employer, (2) change employer or, (3) sever from this employer. 
  • If you are not also completing your online license renewal, click on Change Your Employer in your menu options. The current employment information page will be displayed, listing your current employing broker information. 

Enter the new Employing Broker/Entity license number in the space at the bottom of the screen entitled Change Employer To, using our license number: Real Broker - LC696641000. 
Please note you will only enter in Real's License Number of LC696641000 into the change Employer section. 


If you are newly licensed:

If you are ready to apply as a Newly Licensed Agent:

When you go to the AZDRE Online License Renewal System, just above the login is a section for agents who are logging in for the first time. Click to create your account, then follow the steps above.

 

After completing the above steps:

Your Designated Broker, Courtney Yant-Haug, and Onboarding Coordinator will confirm the transfer.

Once your license is affiliated with Real and your Join Application is approved you'll receive the Welcome, Next Steps email. 

New to Real? Look out for your welcome email once your license transfer is complete. This will include your Post-Onboarding Instructions, details on our Onboarding class, link to our Marketing Center and more!

Already a Real agent? Please contact the Onboarding Team and they will add your license to your existing reZEN account.

 

3️⃣ FACILITATE YOUR MLS AND BOARD TRANSFERS

4️⃣ UPDATE YOUR MARKETING/ADVERTISING

Please review all Arizona advertising requirements here:

In all instances of advertising in the state of Arizona, an advertisement must include:

  • Name of the brokerage must be prominent, we CANNOT use just our Real logo.
  • Brokerage name, Real Broker, should be similar in size to agent name or team name.
  • Fair housing logo
  • Agent name or team name (if applicable)
  • Agent’s phone number
  • Agent license number not required (can be removed from business cards and yard signs)

5️⃣ TRANSFER YOUR ACTIVE LISTINGS TO REAL

How to transfer your active listings and re-list them with Real Broker:

  1. You must get approval from your previous brokerage. Please reach out to them for approval to transfer your listing and any fees associated. 
  2. Once your previous Brokerage approves, you must complete a Listing Transfer Form with your Board. Please reach out to your Board directly as each has a unique form. 
    1. This must be signed by all parties - including your previous Brokerage.
    2. Once everyone has signed, send to azbroker@therealbrokerage.com for Real’s Broker to sign.
      • We will only accept electronic signatures. Please use your preferred signature platform to send your form to the Arizona Broker. 
  3. Our Arizona Broker will sign the form. 
  4. Once the form is signed, you must submit to your Association. 
  5. Your Association will transfer the listing on the MLS. 
  6. Please enter the listing in reZEN and upload the Listing Transfer Documentation to your Listing Checklist. 
  7. If the listing is already under contract, you must also do an Active Escrow Transfer form - this will come from your previous Broker. 
  8. Once again, have your previous Brokerage sign this form, then send to azbroker@therealbrokerage.com for Real’s Broker to sign.
    • We will only accept electronic signatures. Please use your preferred signature platform to send your form to the Arizona Broker. 

How to transfer your current active escrow:

If you are under contract at your previous Brokerage, the transaction needs to remain with and close through them.

  2. Attend Real Transaction Training - Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 1PM ET to learn how to enter listings and transactions, understand the steps to getting paid, process referral payments, and properly terminate listings or transactions.
     
  3. Attend Navigating Real's Technology to learn how to effectively use Real Signature, Real Academy, and Workvivo to help you work smarter and more efficiently.
     
  4. Attend Marketing Training - Mondays @ 1PM ET to learn about the many marketing resources available to help you build your brand. 
     
  5. Attend Real's Benefits and Programs to understand what is offered and how to access benefits and programs exclusive to Real Agents.
     
  6. Attend Ways to Earn Income at Real to learn more about Real’s wealth-building opportunities like stock and equity, Elite Agent status, revenue share, and more.
     

7️⃣ JOIN THE WORKVIVO STATE SPACE

Workvivo is our online Real community hub for Real agents. Each State/Province has a Group space for you to to easily see updates and access meetings and resources. You can also join others groups to interact with other agents at Real, especially for referrals and tips.

9️⃣ DOWNLOAD THE REAL APP

To do so, go to www.joinreal.com/app on your mobile device. You’ll be prompted to download the app. You can also search for Real reZEN through the app store on your mobile device.

**Important, you will use the login information you created in Step 1 to log into your agent application.
