How do I transfer my Mississippi license to Real?

Welcome to Real!

Steps to become fully active at Real in Mississippi:

  1. Complete a Real Join Application
  2. Transfer Your License to Real
  3. Facilitate Your Board and MLS Transfers
  4. Update Your Marketing/Advertising
  5. Transfer Your Active Listings to Real
  6. Register for Training
  7. Join the Workvivo State Space
  8. Bookmark the Real Knowledge Base
  9. Download the Real App

 

1️⃣ COMPLETE A REAL JOIN APPLICATION

Complete a Real Application by signing the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) and paying the Application Fee using the steps below.

You will need the following items to complete your application:

  • License Number(s) and Expiration Date(s)
  • MLS and Board information
  • Sponsor name and email
  • A photo of the front of your Driver’s License
  • Payment information for the Application Fee

***Remember your login credentials that you create during the Application since this will be your login information for reZEN once your application has been approved.

2️⃣ TRANSFER YOUR LICENSE TO REAL

Now that you have signed your ICA and paid the join fee, it's time to transfer your license to Real!

New Licensees

In order to sit for your licensing exam, you will need to obtain Broker Signature on your application. This will need to be a wet signature, we will help connect you with the State Broker. 

 

Existing Licensees

  • Once you let your current Broker know you are transferring to a new broker, login to your MREC account.

  • On the left side you will see several tabs; select the one that says TRANSFER LICENSE.

  • Please read the above notice, then click Next

  • Review the page informing you of the licenses available for online transfer.  Click Next.

  • You will then be prompted to select an Office or Branch. 
    • If you are joining as a Residential Agent and are located in a Coastal County, select Office and Type REAL Broker.
    • If you joining as a Residential Agent and are located in the Hattiesburg area, select Branch and look for REAL Broker, Petal.
    • If joining as a Referral Only Agent, select Office and type Real Broker LFRO.

  • Type Real Broker under Name (less is more in this case). Then click Search. 

  • To join as a Residential agent (full Board and MLS dues paying member), select Real Broker LLC
  • To join as a Referral Only agent, select Real Broker Lfro LLC

  • Once you make your selection you will asked to confirm.  An email notification will be sent to your current broker and the receiving Real Broker, who will confirm and approve the transfer. 

After completing the above steps:

Your Designated Broker, Aritt Davis, and Onboarding Coordinator will confirm the transfer with the Mississippi Real Estate Commission. Now you will need to transfer Boards and MLS. Go to your Association/Board website or call and get a blank form. Complete all relevant portions and then email to Broker for Signature at msbroker@therealbrokerage.com. For a timely response, text Aritt at 601-270-9606 to alert him that you have sent this in.

Already a Real agent? Please contact Real Support and our support team will add your license to your existing reZEN account.

4️⃣ UPDATE YOUR MARKETING/ADVERTISING

Please review all Mississippi advertising requirements here:

MS State Requirements: In all instances of advertising in the state of Mississippi an advertisement must include:

• Legal name of brokerage
• Agent’s title
• Brokerage phone number: 228-471-5211
• Teams can't advertise as a sole entity. Must include brokerage name in equal prominence and office number equally.
• Agent name and number must be same size as brokerage name or smaller. Same applies to logos

5️⃣ TRANSFER YOUR ACTIVE LISTINGS TO REAL

If you are re-listing your active listing(s) with Real Broker, please submit forms electronically to msbroker@therealbrokerage.com for signature using an electronic signature platform.

  3. Attend Navigating Real's Technology to learn how to effectively use Real Signature, Real Academy, and Workvivo to help you work smarter and more efficiently.
     
  4. Attend Marketing Training - Mondays @ 1PM ET to learn about the many marketing resources available to help you build your brand. 
     
  5. Attend Real's Benefits and Programs to understand what is offered and how to access benefits and programs exclusive to Real Agents.
     
  6. Attend Ways to Earn Income at Real to learn more about Real’s wealth-building opportunities like stock and equity, Elite Agent status, revenue share, and more.
     

7️⃣ JOIN THE WORKVIVO STATE SPACE

Workvivo is our online Real community hub for Real agents. Each State/Province has a Group space for you to to easily see updates and access meetings and resources. You can also join others groups to interact with other agents at Real, especially for referrals and tips.

9️⃣ DOWNLOAD THE REAL APP

To do so, go to www.joinreal.com/app on your mobile device. You’ll be prompted to download the app. You can also search for Real reZEN through the app store on your mobile device.

**Important, you will use the login information you created in Step 1 to log into your agent application.
