Now that you have signed your ICA and paid the join fee, it's time to transfer your license to Real! 

Existing Licensees

To transfer your existing license to Real, follow these steps:

• Before we can affiliate you with Real, you need to contact your current broker via email and ask them to release your license. They will have a maximum of 10 days to send your license back to the state.

• Your Onboarding Coordinator will send you the Maine Designated Broker's Authorization of Agency Affiliation form via adobe sign. Please fill out this form entirely and send directly to the Maine Real Estate Commission at rlestate.com@maine.gov along with your payment information.

New Licensees

To apply for a new real estate license, follow these steps:

• Your Onboarding Coordinator will send you both the Maine Designated Broker's Authorization of Agency Affiliation form and the Maine Change of License Application form via adobe sign. Please fill out these forms entirely and send directly to the Maine Real Estate Commission at rlestate.com@maine.gov along with your payment information.

After completing the above steps:

Your Designated Broker, Julie Perrino, and Onboarding Coordinator will receive a confirmation of the transfer from the State of Maine Real Estate Commission.

Please send your ME six digit login code to MLS to Julie at mebroker@therealbrokerage.com so she may add you to the MLS. She also will take care of adding you to Docusign. It is your responsibility to update your board information.

If you are using Zipforms, you will need to update your brokerage affiliation information with them. You can reach their customer support at 207-662-7501.
