How do I transfer my Utah license to Real?

Welcome to Real!

Steps to become fully active at Real in Utah:

  1. Complete a Real Join Application
  2. Transfer Your License to Real
  3. Facilitate Your Board and MLS Transfers
  4. Update Your Marketing/Advertising
  5. Transfer Your Active Listings to Real
  6. Register for Training
  7. Join the Workvivo State Space
  8. Bookmark the Real Knowledge Base
  9. Download the Real App

 

1️⃣ COMPLETE A REAL JOIN APPLICATION

Complete a Real Application by signing the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) and paying the Application Fee using the steps below.

You will need the following items to complete your application:

  • License Number(s) and Expiration Date(s)
  • MLS and Board information
  • Sponsor name and email
  • A photo of the front of your Driver’s License
  • Payment information for the Application Fee

***Remember your login credentials that you create during the Application since this will be your login information for reZEN once your application has been approved.

 If you are advertising as a Team, please complete the form here (if you have not already) in order to record and setup that up properly with Real.
 

2️⃣ TRANSFER YOUR LICENSE TO REAL

Active Licensees

  • All licensees will be required to set up a UtahID account and link their license number to their account. Please find instructions here.
  • You must initiate the license transfer or license activation process in My License One.
    IMPORTANT: If you're an existing agent transferring from another brokerage, you must have your current Broker release your license from their brokerage in order for the transfer to take effect at the Utah DRE.
    1. Login To My License One: https://utahdoc.mylicenseone.com 
    2. Use your UtahID log in credentials to access your My License One account.
    3. Locate License in the “Existing License/Registration Holders” Section
      • Your license may already be listed
      • If not, enter in your full license number to search
      • If the system is unable to find your license, please read the helpful tips below
    4. Click on the 3 Dots next to the license number and select "Affiliation Change”
    5. Review Form Instructions and move to “Applicant Information”
    6. Confirm Legal Name and Contact Information and move to “Broker Affiliation Change”
    7. Shows Current Affiliation and then click on “ADD” to enter the new company
    8. Enter Full Company License Number and Search
      • Enter the company license number: 12122060-CN00
      • If you're joining as a referral-only agent, enter company license number: 14145097-BO00
    9. Select Company and Choose Applicable Relationship “Brokerage” then ADD
    10. FINISH
    11. Confirm No Fees and SUBMIT.
       
  • Helpful Tips
    • Do not copy and paste the license number when searching
    • Make sure to type the full number, including the last four digits - ex. 123456-SA00
    • Try searching just the full license number and link . If you cannot find it, please email the Division at realestate@utah.gov for the Registration Code.
    • Make sure the email address used for UtahID matches what is on file for your license

After completing the above steps:

Your Designated Broker, Dawn Stevens, and Onboarding Coordinator will confirm the transfer with the Utah Real Estate Commission.

New to Real? Look out for your welcome email once your license transfer is complete. This will include your Post-Onboarding Instructions, details on our Onboarding class, link to our Marketing Center and more!

Already a Real agent? Please contact Real Support and our support team will add your license to your existing reZEN account.

4️⃣ UPDATE YOUR MARKETING/ADVERTISING

Please review all Utah advertising requirements here:

  • In all instances of advertising in the state of Utah, an advertisement must include:
    • Legal name of brokerage; Real Broker, LLC
    • The brokerage name or logo must be clear and conspicuous in all advertising.

5️⃣ TRANSFER YOUR ACTIVE LISTINGS TO REAL

If you are re-listing your active listing(s) with Real Broker, please submit forms electronically to UTsign@therealbrokerage.com for signature using an electronic signature platform.

  3. Attend Navigating Real's Technology to learn how to effectively use Real Signature, Real Academy, and Workvivo to help you work smarter and more efficiently.
     
  4. Attend Marketing Training - Mondays @ 1PM ET to learn about the many marketing resources available to help you build your brand. 
     
  5. Attend Real's Benefits and Programs to understand what is offered and how to access benefits and programs exclusive to Real Agents.
     
  6. Attend Ways to Earn Income at Real to learn more about Real’s wealth-building opportunities like stock and equity, Elite Agent status, revenue share, and more.
     

7️⃣ JOIN THE WORKVIVO STATE SPACE

Workvivo is our online Real community hub for Real agents. Each State/Province has a Group space for you to to easily see updates and access meetings and resources. You can also join others groups to interact with other agents at Real, especially for referrals and tips.

8️⃣ VISIT AND BOOKMARK THE REAL KNOWLEDGEBASE 

The Real KnowledgeBase is our collection of digital articles, including FAQs, how-to guides, and tutorials, that you can search to learn more and understand all the resources and benefits of Real.
 

9️⃣ DOWNLOAD THE REAL APP

To do so, go to www.joinreal.com/app on your mobile device. You’ll be prompted to download the app. You can also search for Real reZEN through the app store on your mobile device.

**Important, you will use the login information you created in Step 1 to log into your agent application.
