How do I transfer my Utah license to Real?

After you sign the Independent Contractor Agreement:

Now that you have signed your ICA and paid the join fee, it's time to transfer your license to Real!

All licensees will be required to set up a UtahID account and link their license number to their account. Please find instructions here.

License Transfer/Activation Process:

You must initiate the license transfer or license activation process in My License One.

1. Login To My License One: https://utahdoc.mylicenseone.com 

  • Use your UtahID log in credentials to access your My License One account.

2. Locate License in the “Existing License/Registration Holders” Section

  • Your license may already be listed
  • If not, enter in your full license number to search
  • If the system is unable to find your license, please read the helpful tips below


3. Click on the 3 Dots next to the license number and select "Affiliation Change”
4. Review Form Instructions and move to “Applicant Information”
5. Confirm Legal Name and Contact Information and move to “Broker Affiliation Change”
6. Shows Current Affiliation and then click on “ADD” to enter the new company
7. Enter Full Company License Number and Search

  • Enter the company license number: 12122060-CN00
  • If you're joining as a referral-only agent, enter company license number: 14145097-BO00 

8. Select Company and Choose Applicable Relationship “Brokerage” then ADD
9. FINISH
10. Confirm No Fees and SUBMIT.

IMPORTANT: If you're an existing agent transferring from another brokerage, you must have your current Broker release your license from their brokerage in order for the transfer to take effect at the Utah DRE.

 

Helpful Tips

  • Do not copy and paste the license number when searching
  • Make sure to type the full number, including the last four digits - ex. 123456-SA00
  • Try searching just the full license number and link . If you cannot find it, please email the Division at realestate@utah.gov for the Registration Code.
  • Make sure the email address used for UtahID matches what is on file for your license
