How do I transfer my Pennsylvania license to Real?

Welcome to Real!

Steps to become fully active at Real in Pennsylvania:

  1. Complete a Real Join Application
  2. Transfer Your License to Real
  3. Facilitate Your Board and MLS Transfers
  4. Update Your Marketing/Advertising
  5. Transfer Your Active Listings to Real
  6. Register for Training
  7. Join the Workvivo State Space
  8. Bookmark the Real Knowledge Base
  9. Download the Real App

 

1️⃣ COMPLETE A REAL JOIN APPLICATION

Complete a Real Application by signing the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) and paying the Application Fee using the steps below.

You will need the following items to complete your application:

  • License Number(s) and Expiration Date(s)
  • MLS and Board information
  • Sponsor name and email
  • A photo of the front of your Driver’s License
  • Payment information for the Application Fee

***Remember your login credentials that you create during the Application since this will be your login information for reZEN once your application has been approved.

2️⃣ TRANSFER YOUR LICENSE TO REAL

Now that you have signed your ICA and paid the join fee, it's time to transfer your license to Real!

Existing Licensees

To transfer your existing license to Real, follow these steps:

  • Log into your Pennsylvania Licensing System account. Locate your license in the 'Professional License Details' section of your dashboard and click on the green pencil icon next to your license number. Select the form to transfer your license to a new brokerage. Complete the form using the following license number:
    • If joining as a Residential Agent, use license number: RB069824
    • If joining as a Referral Only Agent, use license number: RB069825

New Licensees

To apply for a new real estate license, follow these steps:

  • Log into your Pennsylvania Licensing System account. If you do not already have an account, create one first. Fill out the application, following all directions. Any discrepancies will cause a delay in the issuance of a license. When needed, use Real's license number: RB069824. Once submitted, it will go to your designated broker, William Ryan, for approval.
  • Once approved, you will need to send it to the commission for review. To do this, go to your online dashboard and select "Review" for your application at the bottom under My Queue. When ready click "Submit" and "Add to cart". Check out to have your application sent to the commission for review.

Note: The process for the commission reviewing your application for approval can take up to 2 weeks. To check the status of your license, use the search feature on the PALS website.

 

After completing the above steps:

Your Designated Broker, William Ryan, and Onboarding Coordinator will confirm the transfer in PALS.

New to Real? Look out for your welcome email once your license transfer is complete. This will include your Post-Onboarding Instructions, details on our Onboarding class, link to our Marketing Center and more!

Already a Real agent? Please contact Real Support and our support team will add your license to your existing reZEN account.

 

3️⃣ FACILITATE YOUR MLS AND BOARD TRANSFERS

4️⃣ UPDATE YOUR MARKETING/ADVERTISING

Please review all Pennsylvania advertising requirements here:

PA State Requirements: In all instances of advertising in the state of Pennsylvania, an advertisement must include:

  • DBA name of brokerage: Real of Pennsylvania
  • If agent’s name is used, must be as it reads on their license
    • Nicknames are allowed if properly registered with the state
    • Agent’s title (optional).
    • Agents can use salesperson, sales associate, REALTOR, or REALTOR ASSOCIATE®. Associate brokers can use REALTOR, associate broker or REALTOR ASSOCIATE®.
  • Brokerage phone number: 855-450-0442
  • If address is used, must be one of the brokerage’s main or branch office addresses.
  • Agent name or team’s name (if applicable) and number cannot be bigger or bolder than the brokerage name and number, but can be same size.
  • The Real logo is NOT our name and its size does not count. Your name cannot be bigger or bolder than the phrase “Real of Pennsylvania”.

5️⃣ TRANSFER YOUR ACTIVE LISTINGS TO REAL

If you are re-listing your active listing(s) with Real Broker, please submit forms electronically to pabroker@therealbrokerage.com for signature using an electronic signature platform.

  3. Attend Navigating Real's Technology to learn how to effectively use Real Signature, Real Academy, and Workvivo to help you work smarter and more efficiently.
     
  4. Attend Marketing Training - Mondays @ 1PM ET to learn about the many marketing resources available to help you build your brand. 
     
  5. Attend Real's Benefits and Programs to understand what is offered and how to access benefits and programs exclusive to Real Agents.
     
  6. Attend Ways to Earn Income at Real to learn more about Real’s wealth-building opportunities like stock and equity, Elite Agent status, revenue share, and more.
     

7️⃣ JOIN THE WORKVIVO STATE SPACE

Workvivo is our online Real community hub for Real agents. Each State/Province has a Group space for you to to easily see updates and access meetings and resources. You can also join others groups to interact with other agents at Real, especially for referrals and tips.

8️⃣ VISIT AND BOOKMARK THE REAL KNOWLEDGEBASE

9️⃣ DOWNLOAD THE REAL APP

To do so, go to www.joinreal.com/app on your mobile device. You’ll be prompted to download the app. You can also search for Real reZEN through the app store on your mobile device.

**Important, you will use the login information you created in Step 1 to log into your agent application.
