How do I transfer my Nevada license to Real?

Welcome to Real!

Steps to become fully active at Real in Nevada:

1. Complete a Real Join Application
   • Team Setup

1️⃣ COMPLETE A REAL JOIN APPLICATION

Complete a Real Application by signing the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) and paying the Application Fee using the steps below.

You will need the following items to complete your application:

• License Number(s) and Expiration Date(s)
• MLS and Board information
• Sponsor name and email
• A photo of the front of your Driver’s License
• Payment information for the Application Fee

***Remember your login credentials that you create during the Application since this will be your login information for reZEN once your application has been approved.

2️⃣ TRANSFER YOUR LICENSE TO REAL

Now that you have signed your ICA and paid the join fee, it's time to transfer your license to Real!

Existing Licensees

To transfer your existing license to Real, follow these steps:

• Complete Form 505 Real Estate Termination Form. All sections must be completed; incomplete forms will be voided and returned. Once completed, send to your current broker or authorized sales manager for signature.

• Complete Form 504 Real Estate License Change Form, which will be sent to you via Real Signature. You must complete the top portion of page 2, along with Sections 1, 8 and 9 and page 5. Be sure to select the correct address below to use on your application based on which office you will be joining.

• When both forms are fully complete with all signatures, you are responsible for delivering them to the Nevada Real Estate Division (NRED) at 3300 W. Sahara Ave #350 Las Vegas, NV 89102.
  • Note that you need to include your original license returned from your current brokerage.
  • You also need to pay the transfer fee at this time, which can be paid via check, money-order, or a cashier's check made payable to NRED; cash in the exact amount; or credit card for in person transactions.
  • It is strongly encouraged for you to deliver in person for faster processing.   
• Once your license is affiliated with Real on the Nevada Real Estate Division (NRED) system, Onboarding can proceed with approving your application. You will receive a Welcome Email with the next steps.

New Licensees

To apply for a new real estate license, follow these steps:

• Complete your application. Click the link you received from your sponsor or click here to join. This should take you 15 minutes. 
  
  * Please note: When prompted for your License Number Enter "00000" as a placeholder for now, since you will not have your Nevada License Number assigned to you yet.
  
  Example:

  License Number in Nevada: 00000
  License Expiration Date in Nevada: Any date

  This is temporary, and you will not be able to proceed with the application fully until your actual license number is assigned to you. Once your License Number is assigned Onboarding will assist with Adding your License number to your profile.

• Complete Form 549 Original Licensing Application, which will be sent to you via Real Signature. All sections and pages must be completed. Information for section 8: Company Affiliation can be found in the chart above.
• When the application is fully complete with all signatures, you are responsible for delivering it to the Nevada Real Estate Division (NRED) at 3300 W. Sahara Ave #350 Las Vegas, NV 89102. Be sure to include the application along with all other items on the checklist on page 1. It is strongly encouraged for you to deliver in person for faster processing.
• Once your license number is issued and officially affiliated with Real on the Nevada Real Estate Division (NRED) system, Onboarding can proceed with approving your application. You will receive a Welcome Email with the next steps.
   

Completing the above steps:

Processing can take up to 7-10 days from receipt. Once your documents have been processed, you will receive a receipt from the Nevada Real Estate Division.  This is your notification that your license has been transferred to Real.

New to Real? Look out for your welcome email once your license transfer is complete. This will include your Post-Onboarding Instructions, details on our Onboarding class, link to our Marketing Center and more!

Already a Real agent? Please contact Real Support and our support team will add your license to your existing reZEN account.

3️⃣ FACILITATE YOUR MLS AND BOARD TRANSFERS

4️⃣ UPDATE YOUR MARKETING/ADVERTISING

Please review all Nevada advertising requirements here:

NV State Requirements: In all instances of advertising in the state of Nevada, an advertisement must include:

• The name of the brokerage - Real Broker, LLC (must be clearly identified with prominence in any advertisement)

• Using only the Real logo or a team name/logo by itself DOES NOT satisfy this requirement and is not compliant with the Division. The brokerage name must appear slightly LARGER than the Agent’s name, logo, or team name.

• Agent’s license number

• License number must include prefix - The prefix that denotes Salesperson, Broker Salesperson, or Broker status is required (S. BS. or B.), although a licensee may, but is not required to, include any: Preceding zeros at the beginning of the license number or letters after the period following the license number.

• Agent’s phone number

• Real’s logo
 

Social Media - The brokerage name is required to be displayed in each post related to real estate.
• When advertising on the internet, each internet “page” should be considered a distinct advertisement and should comply with all advertising laws. For example, identifying the brokerage only on the first page of the website and not on each subsequent webpage may violate the regulation requiring each advertisement to prominently display the brokerage name

• Brokerage name must be clearly identified if a team name is listed

• Team or group (if applicable) must be composed of more than one licensee, all members of the team must be employed by the same broker, the name of the team or group must consist of the name and license # of at least one of the members of the team or group

• Office address is not required, but if used must be the address that is on your license. Agents are not permitted to conduct any real estate business out of any office other than what is on your RE license.

If you are re-listing your active listing(s) with Real Broker, please submit forms electronically to nvbroker@therealbrokerage.com for signature using an electronic signature platform.

Workvivo is our online Real community hub for Real agents. Each State/Province has a Group space for you to to easily see updates and access meetings and resources. You can also join others groups to interact with other agents at Real, especially for referrals and tips.
