How do I affiliate my Kansas license to Real?

After you sign the Independent Contractor Agreement:

TRANSFER AN ACTIVE OR REACTIVATE AN INACTIVE LICENSE:

Login to the KREC Online Public Portal. Use these instructions for reference to move your license to a new company. 

*If your license is inactive status, please follow these instructions for reactivation.

  • Click "KREC Licenses" to display your records then click "Update Record" next to your license. 
  • To move your license from one company/branch to another, select "Move License" amendment then Click "Continue." 
  • Click the checkbox next to your current company then click "Edit Selected". Check "Remove Affiliation" box then click "Submit". 
  • Click "LOOK UP" to search for Real Broker (If you are joining as a Standard Agent, please use brokerage license number CO00002602. (If you are joining as a Referral Only Agent, please use brokerage license number CO00003625). Click Continue

  • Review your new office selection, read certification and click Certification check box. Click Continue. 

  • Request has been submitted; Real Broker will be notified to approve your affiliation, then the request will be processed by KREC. You will receive an email notification once the change is complete. Please note the Broker Acknowledgement Letter is required for restricted licensees to change companies. Remember to update your email address.

 

New Pre-License Applicants:

Visit the Applicants page and follow the Broker or Salesperson Checklists. You must first register in the Public Portal to obtain a PL number. Applicants who have already started the process or submitted documents to KREC, you will receive an email from KREC with further instruction.

After completing the above steps:

Your Designated Broker, Samar Edenfield and the Onboarding Coordinators will confirm the transfer with the Kansas Real Estate Commission. Click on the "License Search" link to verify the affiliation change is effective before performing real estate activities for Real.
