After you sign the Independent Contractor Agreement:

Now that you have signed your ICA and paid the join fee, it's time to transfer your license to Real! To initiate this process, follow these instructions:

Existing Licensees   

THERE IS A CHANGE OF BROKER FEE OF $20.00 AND PAPER PROCESSING FEE OF $10.00 or ONLINE PROCESSING FEE $5.00   

To transfer your existing license to Real, the first thing you will need to do is download the Change of Employing Broker Form. Along with the Change of Employing Broker Form, they will want ​you to upload a single file with the following documents to continue: the signed Change of Broker Form and your signed license.  If your license status is currently inactive, you must include proof of CE hours in the file upload.   The file must be in a PDF format and less than 5MB in size. 

1) Click on Change of Employing Broker Form

2) In the Applicant Section:

• Fill in your name
• License number
• Email 
• Phone number
  • Sign and Date
  • Send to wvbroker@therealbrokerage.com for broker signature

• Once you have this form completed and returned from the West Virginia broker, save it to your computer as you will need it let in this process. You will now be able to start your license transfer process. 

1) Go to:  https://apps.wv.gov/REC/Licensing/Change/Change/Index

2) Fill in the following information:

• Fill in your License number
• Company Number: 005216
• Branch id: 00
• Fill in your social security number
  • Click Continue
• 

3) Fill in the following information

if joining as a Residential Agent:

• • New Broker Company Number:  010235
  • New Company Name: Real Broker, LLC
  • New Broker Name: Bernard C Pudimott
  • New Broker License Number: WVB230300921
  • Branch ID: 00

if joining as a Real Select - Referral Only Agent:

• • New Broker Company Number: 010267
  • New Company Name: Real Broker LFRO LLC
  • New Broker Name: Bernard C Pudimott
  • New Broker License Number: WVB230300921
  • Branch ID: 00

  4) In the Broker Signature File section, upload the Change of Employing Broker Form you previously saved to your computer. 

• Click Continue
• Review the Filing information

5) Fill out the following information on the review information page 

• Fill out your email address
• Confirm your email address
• Click Pay Now

• • On this page fill in your information
    • Click I understand

• Fill in your credit card information
  • Click Pay Now
  • Save your payment confirmation for your records

At this point, your Designated Broker, Bernard  Pudimott, and the Onboarding Specialist will confirm the transfer with the West Virginia Real Estate Board. 

For Newly Licensed Agents

After you have passed the exams you will submit an Online Application ``and upload the following documents:

1. Copy of your proof of passing both portions of the exam
2. Lic​ense Letter - Salesperson 

• Fill out the top section of the License Letter 
• When you get to the Certificate of New Employing Broker section, please send the document to wvbroker@therealbrokerage.com for completion.
• Once you receive the completed document back from the West Virginia Broker, save this file to your computer as you will need it later in the process

Once you have the copy of your proof of passing both portions of the exam and the License Letter- Sales Person:

 Click on Online Application

 Click on Start Application for License

Fill out the application for license and click Continue
