It's Closing Day. Now we need to wait for Commission Funds so Real can process your deal.
As a reminder, before closing, the following must be completed:
- Step 1: Enter your deal in reZEN - Canada
- Step 2: Upload Documents to Checklist - Canada
- Step 3: Deposit Trust Cheques - Canada
- Step 4: Broker Approval for Conveyance - Canada
- Step 5: Approve Commission & Trade Record Sheet - Canada
- Step 6: Conveyance & Final Broker Approval
If the above steps are complete, we can close.
After closing, the Lawyer / Commission Payer will electronically deposit or mail the commission cheque to Real, using the instructions provided on the conveyance documents. We are unable to pay agents until we have received Commission Funds from the Commission Payer.

How to Deposit Commission Cheques:

We have three options to deposit commission cheques:
*Note: In Manitoba, the cheque must be mailed to Real.*

Best Option: the lawyer or other brokerage should send EFT to Real.
- EFT instructions are included on conveyance letters.
- Not allowed in Manitoba, the cheque must be mailed to Real.

Second Best: Mail the cheque to Real.

As an option, an agent may pickup the cheque from the Lawyer or Other Brokerage. Once you pickup the cheque, you can:
- Not allowed in Manitoba, the cheque must be mailed to Real.
