Real’s Private Label program allows eligible independent brokerages to keep the brands that they spent years building – while still benefiting from partnering with Real.
Getting Started:
- Review and sign your Private Label Agreement
- If your brokerage has a physical office location, kick-off the approval process by completing the Physical Office Application - Found HERE
- In order for Real to operate under your DBA, we must file a Business Certificate at the City of your office location with the City Clerk. These requirements will vary by City, however, in general the requirements include:
-
- Completed Business Certificate
- Zoning approval of office space
-
Step 1: Real completes the Business Certificate adding your brokerage name as a DBA
- While requirements may vary from city to city, a business certificate will always be required to be filed. Real will complete the research to determine what is required and will file the certificate.
Step 2: Real works with the City Zoning/Building team to get approval for office spaces
- Zoning approval is a common requirement and many times is required in order for the business certificate to be approved.
- City rules and regulations around office spaces vary but many times the Zoning department will just verify that the business is zoned accordingly and sign off. If you already have a physical office, many times this is just a formality as the space will likely already be zoned as a business.
