What is the transaction fee?

Once you cap, Real charges a $285 USD transaction fee ($275 CAD transaction fee) or 15%, whichever is less, on each sale transaction and $125 USD transaction fee ($125 CAD transaction fee) or 15%, whichever is less, per lease transaction. Once you hit Elite Agent status, the transaction fee will drop.

Why does Real charge a Transaction Fee?

We charge a minimal fee to help cover our operating costs as we continue to offer some of the industry's most competitive economic incentives while delivering top-tier technology and support.

What happens if I am on a team?

If you are on a team, your transaction fee will be split proportionally with the team split. 

For example:

• Team Lead gets 20% commission
• Team Member gets 80% commission
• For a US Transaction, the Team Lead will pay a $57 transaction fee ($285 x 20%). The Team Member will pay a $228 ($285 x 80%) transaction fee.
