What is the Elite Agent Program?
Agents who achieve exceptional sales volume and embody the core cultural values of Real are offered the opportunity to earn Elite Agent status.
How does an agent qualify to be an Elite Agent?
To reach Elite Agent Status, one of the following production benchmarks will need to be met:
- Pay the full annual cap and generate $6,000 USD / $9,000 CAD in post-cap transaction fees.

Achieve a minimum GCI of $500,000 and 10 completed transactions at $1 million or above.
- You must be receiving at least 50% of the gross commission on a transaction over $1 million.
- If you received 49% or less of the gross commission, the transaction will not count toward your Elite Agent status.
- If you earned 50% or more on the deal, then it will count as one deal toward Elite Agent status.

Rebates paid to clients will not count toward your Elite GCI.
- For example, your total GCI is $500,000, but you paid $10,000 in rebates to your clients. Your Elite GCI will be $490,000.
- Personal Transactions do not count toward Elite.
Elite status is earned by individuals or by team leads when they achieve the benchmarks described above. The Elite Agent program is reviewed annually and is subject to change in the future.
What benefits does an Elite Agent receive?
Once an agent reaches Elite status:

The Elite Agent will be awarded $16,000 in stock.
- **All shares in this program are Restricted Stock Units and have a 3 year vesting period. The agent will have to remain in good standing with the company throughout the vesting period. Important Note: As of September 1st, 2026, the Elite Agent Award will change to $12k US and $15k CAD. This applies to any agent who reaches Elite Status after 9/1.

The Elite agent will enjoy a reduced post-cap transaction fee of $129 US or $175 CAD.
- Capped Team Members with a reduced cap where the Team Leader had achieved Elite Status will also be able to enjoy the reduced post cap fee.
- Capped Team Members on a full $12k cap (US) or $15k cap (CAD) will continue to pay the full transaction fee and are eligible to earn Elite Status!
Important Note: As of September 1st, 2026, the Elite Post-Cap Transaction Fee will change to $100 US and $150 CAD. This applies to any agent who reaches Elite Status after 9/1, as well as their team members with a reduced cap (if applicable).
Elite agents are also eligible for an additional $8k in stock is awarded upon completion of cultural contributions back to the entire agent population through Real Academy. This award vests over a 3-year annual period based on RSU award dates.
