How much does it cost to hang my license with Real (Canada)?

$15,000 Company Cap for Team Leaders

$7,500 for Team Members (Team Members owe less to Company)

• Agent will pay 15% to Real until Company Cap is paid.
• Then Agent will no longer pay Commission Split to Company.
• The Company Cap will reset every year on the Agent's anniversary date.

The $40 CBR fee is split across all members of the team.

Example: if you split your transaction 80/20; the Team Member will pay $32 (80% of $40) and the Team Leader will pay $8 (20% of $400). 

Post-Cap Transaction Fee

Once you pay the Company Cap, you will pay:

• $375 CAD per transaction; and
• $125 CAD per lease transaction

After reaching Elite Agent status, the Post-Cap Transaction Fee reduces to $175. 

As of September 1st, 2026, the Elite Post-Cap Transaction Fee will change to $150 per transaction. This applies for any agent who reached Elite Status on or after September 1st.

Once you pay the Company Cap, you will pay:

• $375 CAD per sale;
• $125 CAD per lease

This is split proportionally across all members on the transaction. 

Example: If you split a transaction 70/30, Team Member will pay a $262.50 transaction fee ($375 * 70%) and Team Leader will pay a $112.50 transaction fee ($375 * 30%).

After reaching Elite Agent status, the Post-Cap Transaction Fee reduces to $175. All reduced Cap Members of the Team will benefit from the Elite Agent Transaction Fee. 

As of September 1st, 2026, the Elite Post-Cap Transaction Fee will change to $150 per transaction. This applies for any agent who reached Elite Status on or after September 1st.

$1,200 CAD Annual Brokerage and Risk Management Fee per agent, 
paid from first 3 transactions each anniversary year
