You must handle your client relationship based on your agreement with your previous Brokerage. Real cannot guarantee their previous brokerage will release all active listings or pending transactions, and is unable to get involved. This is between the agent and their previous brokerage to determine.
If you have a deal closing at your Previous Brokerage and commission needs to be paid through Real (Agents in certain US states or Manitoba): Please fill out this form. Our team will enter your transaction in the system on your behalf and mark it as a passthrough so you do not pay additional Split to Real. Real will pass the full amount sent to Real to you.
Please complete immediately upon joining, but no later than 30 days from the date your license was transferred to Real.
Policy:
For all situations where an agent may have active listings or pending transactions, we default to the previous brokerage policy in their previous brokerage ICA on how they will handle these specific agreements. Real cannot guarantee their previous brokerage will release all active listings or pending transactions, and is unable to get involved. This is between the agent and their previous brokerage to determine.
Below is our policy for how to transfer listings and deals to Real:

Agent must handle this client relationship based on their agreement with their previous broker. Ideally, your previous Brokerage will allow you to cancel and re-list with Real or transfer the listing to Real (depending on your MLS policies and procedures). You can re-list with Real and enter the listing in reZEN: How to Enter a listing in reZEN If your previous Brokerage keeps the listing (does not release), we will not be able to intervene - the relationship with your previous brokerage will govern listings at that brokerage. If your previous Brokerage charges a fee to transfer the listing, you will need to enter it as a referral when you go under contract. All Real Splits and Fees will apply. It is Real's policy that we do not sign the transfer forms and accept transactions under contract with your previous Brokerage. If you are under contract at your previous Brokerage, the transaction needs to remain with and close through them.
