If you want to refer business to another Real agent, please make sure to sign a referral agreement and have the agent (who you referred business to) add you as a payment participant on the transaction. 

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Before you Refer Business: 

If you don’t know who you want to refer business to, check out Referral Central in Workvivo to find an agent in your area.  Be sure to log into Workvivo by clicking the Workvivo tab in reZEN before accessing these links.

Once you identify someone you want to work with, make sure you sign a Referral Agreement so terms are clear between you and the other agent:

When your Referral is Under Contract:

Once the referral is under contract, the agent (who you referred business to) will add you to his/her transaction as a Payment Participant. 

We will create a separate transaction for the referral. This will be linked to the original transaction so you can view its status.

Since the referral transaction is already linked to the originating transaction, you do not need to upload the referral agreement or proof of payment.  The listing/buyer agent representing the client in the originating transaction should upload these documents.

The only step you need to complete is approving your commission calculation.  This is to ensure the referring agent confirms they are receiving the correct referral commission.

Because the referral commission will be included in the total commission on the originating transaction, there is no need to send a commission document.  Once you approve the Commission Calculation, you will not see an option to send the commission document.  This is because all commissions are included in the commission document generated in the originating transaction, so there is no need to send out any additional commission documents.

Once the transaction closes, we will allocate funds from the originating transaction to the referral transaction, and pay the referral commission to you.
