You cannot change your Sponsor. Once the Independent Contractor Agreement is signed, the name listed will not be changed for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to divorces or an agent leaving a team.

Background:
- Real is a publicly-traded company and its financial audits must comply with the law known as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
- Our revenue sharing program falls under this.
- We strictly adhere to the parameters outlined in the ICA to protect the program's integrity and purpose. Once the ICA has been signed, no changes are allowed.
- In the ICA the "Agent acknowledges that when this Agreement is signed the name(s) listed above may not be changed for any reason, which includes, but is not limited to, divorces or Agent leaving a team."
- This section is also initialed 3 times to indicate the understanding that this selection is correct and unable to be changed once the ICA is signed.
- The definition of a Sponsor is the person who was most influential in your decision to join Real. However, as per the ICA, you are not required to name a Sponsor. If a Sponsor was not chosen when joining, one cannot be added later.
- Note that the ICA also states "Agent acknowledges and confirms that the Sponsoring Agent - or each Co-Sponsoring Agent has not offered, enticed, or promised anything of value, including, but not limited to, lead generation platforms, CRM, coaching, trips, rebates, or currency in return for being named a Co-Sponsoring Agent."
If an Agent does not properly name you as their Sponsor, it will result in you not receiving revenue share.
