Please note that this feature is currently in an Alpha testing phase and is only available to select teams, team leaders, agents, and TCs who received an email letting them know they are part of the Alpha test. Once we have tested it, we will open this feature to everyone!
Agent Mode lets a Transaction Coordinator (TC) work inside an agent's Real Signature account — preparing and sending documents for signature exactly as the agent would, under the agent's own Real Signature identity. It's for TCs who handle document prep and sending for their assigned agents, and for the team admins and agents who control that access. The core benefit: an agent no longer has to personally log in and send every document — their TC can do it for them, and the agent is automatically copied on everything sent in their name.
How to Set Up and Use Agent Mode
- Setup Instructions for Team Leaders
- Setup Instructions for Individual Agents
- Access instructions for TCs
Team Leaders - Enable Real Signature at the team level
Turn on the permission for an existing Team Administrator 2 or Team Manager role.
Go to Teams → Team Administrators tab. Click the pencil icon on the TC's row, and under Additional Permissions, turn on Real Signature. Click Update to save.
Keep in Mind:
- At the team level, this permission only appears for TC2 or Team Manager roles.
- Turning on this permission gives automatic access to the TC or Team Manager for all Team Members’ Real Signature.
- This can also be enabled when a TC2 or Team Manager is connected to the team. Just be sure to toggle this permission on when you send the connection request.
Individual Agent grants a connected TC access to Real Signature
Individual Agents can also enable this permission for connected TCs.
Open the Transaction Coordinators panel. On the agent's Overview tab, find the Transaction Coordinators section and click Manage.
Turn on Real Signature. Toggle on Real Signature under Access Permissions.
Confirm the change. A Change Permissions modal confirms the TC will be granted access to the agent's Real Signature account. Click Confirm - that’s it! The TC can now act as this agent in Real Signature.
TC Real Signature Access - Agent Mode
Open Real Signature and choose whose documents to access. From the Real Signature icon, select Assigned Agents to manage documents on behalf of an agent (instead of My Documents, which is the TC's own account if they are also a licensed agent).
Search for and select the agent. Use Search Agent to find the agent by name or email, then select them from the list.
The TC is now active as the agent. The left nav confirms "Active as: [Agent Name]." Everything the TC does from here — templates, sending, the dashboard — happens inside that agent's Real Signature account.
