Who Can Redeem Points?
You can redeem Rewards points if you meet all of these requirements:
- You have an open Real Wallet checking or tax account
- You have achieved at least Bronze status in the Rewards program
- You have available Rewards points in your balance with redemption value of at least $1.00
- You are paid Single Check on the transaction
- The transaction is in an eligible state (see below)
- Reward points you earn never expire unless you close your Wallet accounts or leave Real Brokerage.
Eligible Transaction States
You can add or remove reserved point redemptions only when your transaction is in one of these states:
- Needs Commission Validation
- Commission Document Generated
- Commission Document Sent
Important: Once a transaction reaches "Approved for Closing" or any state beyond that, you cannot add or cancel point redemptions.
Dual Representation Transactions
If you represent both buyer and seller:
- You'll see a "Redeem Rewards" button in both of your Payment Participant boxes
- You can redeem points separately on each side
- Points reserved on one side reduce your available balance for the other side
- Each redemption is capped by the Real fees for that specific side
Team Transactions
Pro Team - Agent Pays Real Split:
- Both team members and team leaders can redeem points against their own Real fees
- Each party redeems independently in their own Payment Participant box
Pro Team - Leader Pays Real Split:
- Team leaders can redeem against both their own fees and the portion of agent's Real Split they cover
- Agents can redeem against any remaining fees in their Payment Participant box
Multiple Agents on Same Transaction
Each agent can only:
- See the "Redeem Rewards" button in their own Payment Participant box
- Redeem their own points against their own Real fees
- View other agents' redemptions only if existing transaction/team permissions allow visibility
Note: Redeeming points does not reduce or change your progress towards higher rewards status levels.
Example
- Agent earned 300,000 points in the last month
- Agent redeems 200,000 points on a transaction
- Agent is still only 50,000 points from Gold status (The 200,000 point redemption doe not affect your progress towards gold at all)
