Each month, Real will pay up to 60% of Total Revenue (from Split to Real) to agents in the form of Revenue Share. The amount you receive is equal to the percentage of revenue share earned during the month times the amount available to payout.
Example #1 Adjustment:
- Real’s Total Revenue (from Split to Real) was $1M for August
- Pending Revenue Share is calculated at $620,000
- This is 62% of Total Revenue (from Split to Real)
- Because we want to continue this program, we need to adjust the payout to 60%
- Thus, $600,000 is available for Revenue Share Payouts
Assume you Sponsored an agent who closed a deal with a $15,000 commission.
- You can earn up to 5% of the revenue from that transaction.
- That’s up to $750 from this commission!
- Another way to think about it - you earned 0.12% of the Pending Revenue Share for August ($750 / $620,000)
- Since Real will distribute $600,000 in Revenue Share for August, you will receive 0.12% of that amount.
- That’s $720! Congratulations!
Example #2 - No Adjustment:
Assume the same facts as above, except…Real earns $1.2M in September. In this case, the cap is not hit, so you earn $750.
- Real’s Total Revenue (from Split to Real) was $1.2M for September
- Pending Revenue Share is calculated at $620,000
- This is 52% of Total Revenue (from Split to Real)
- Since this is less than 60%, the total $620,000 will be paid out!
