If you need to edit your transaction, find the transaction in reZEN and click Edit Transaction. This will open a module to select what you want to edit. If you change any of the financial terms (sale price, commission payments, etc.), you will need to re-approve the Commission Calculation after you've made your edits.

Examples:
Change happens! You might need to update your transaction after inspection or appraisal. Here are some common edit examples:
- Change the sale price - for example, if the buyer asked for a reduction after inspection
- Add someone to the transaction - for example: a team member, team lead
- Add a referral to a deal
- Add a reimbursement, rebate, or additional fee to the transaction - for example: if you issue a rebate to cover costs after an inspection.

How Do I Edit A Transaction
Step 1: If you haven't already: login to reZEN. Once you are logged in, find the transaction you need to edit and click on it.
Step 2: Once you are in the transaction, click Edit Transaction. This will open a module. Click the item you want to edit.
- If you need to change the sale price or commission splits, click Edit Deal Information
- If you need to pay a part of your commission for inspection / closing costs, click Add Rebate
- If you need to add a referral to the deal, click Add Referral
- If you need to add an agent to a deal click Add Agent
- If you believe the net payout is incorrect and you need to adjust the Real Split, Brokerage Fee, or Stock Contribution Amount, click Recalculate Commission or see: How Do I Re-Calculate my Commission?
Step 3: Make the necessary changes (which will depend on the type of change you needed to make. Once you make your edits, you will see a status indicator showing this was done successfully.
- If you need to change the sale price or commission splits, click Edit Deal Information or see detailed steps below
- If you need to pay a part of your commission for inspection / closing costs, click Add Rebate and see How to Enter Fees & Rebates
- If you need to add a referral to the deal, click Add Referral or see detailed steps below

Step 4: Please review your transaction to make sure all the information is correct. If everything is correct, please click Approve Commission Calculation & confirm when prompted.
That's it! You're Done! Once you approve the commission calculation, you will see Commission Validated in the top right corner of your deal. Please continue to Step 4: Broker Approval. If your Broker approved the transaction, you can go to Step 5: Send the CDA.
Types Of Transaction Edits
Change Sale Price
Step 1: Click Edit Deal Information
Step 2: Change the Sale Price & Click Save
Step 3: Once you make a change, the transaction will move back to the commission calculation stage. You must approve the commission calculation again. Please review your transaction to make sure all the information is correct. If everything is correct, please click Approve Commission Calculation & confirm when prompted.
Once you approve the commission calculation, you will see Commission Validated in the top right corner of your deal. Please continue to Step 4: Broker Approval. If your Broker approved the transaction, you can go to Step 5: Send the CDA.
Extend Closing Date
Step 1: Click Edit Deal Information.
Step 2: Click to change the closing date, then click Save.
Add Referral, OpCity, Agent
Step 1: Click the type of participant you need to add to the deal.
- If you need to add a referral to the deal, click Add Referral (learn more: How to pay an agent who referred a client to you)
- If you need to add an agent to a deal click Add Agent (learn more: How to add co-agents, team members, or a team lead to a deal
- If you need to add OpCity, click Add OpCity (learn more: How to pay OpCity / Referral Central leads
Step 2: Enter the participant details and click Save.
Step 3: Once you make a change, the transaction will move back to the commission calculation stage. You must approve the commission calculation again. Please review your transaction to make sure all the information is correct. If everything is correct, please click Approve Commission Calculation & confirm when prompted.
