Referral Central gives you three ways to find the right agent for your client: search for one yourself, post your referral to the Referral Board and let interested agents apply, and message agents to ask questions before you commit.
Once you’ve chosen an agent, see Sending a referral in Referral Central for the full send process.

Search for an agent
- Click Find an Agent.
- Search by agent name, city or ZIP code.
- Sort or filter the results by 12-month sales volume, listings created, or properties sold.
- Click View Detail on any agent to open their full profile.
What’s on an agent’s profile
- Service area: the locations and radius the agent covers
- Specialties and languages
- Bio and contact information
- Production stats: 12-month sales volume, listings created and properties sold
Production stats sync automatically from reZEN each day, unless the agent has entered their own numbers. Some agents choose to hide their stats from other agents.
What to look for
- Service area coverage. Make sure the agent’s service area includes your client’s location.
- Relevant experience. Compare stats and read the bio for experience with your client’s type of deal and price range.
- Language. If your client prefers another language, check the languages on the agent’s profile. You can’t filter search results by language yet.
When you’ve found the right agent, click Select Agent to start the referral. Not sure yet? Click Message to ask them a question first.
Referral Board: Let agents come to you
If you don’t have someone in mind, post your referral to the Referral Board by clicking +Create Referral in the upper right corner. Agents whose service area covers your client’s location can see it and apply. Your client’s name and contact details are never shown on the board.
Write a post that attracts the right agents
- Be specific about location. Buyer and Tenant referrals can list several areas if your client is still deciding.
- Set a realistic price range and timeline. Agents use these to judge whether the referral fits their business.
- Use the notes. Mention anything that helps an agent decide, such as property type, special needs or how your client prefers to communicate. Don’t include your client’s name or contact details.
- Add a language preference if your client needs an agent who speaks a specific language.
- Give it a nickname. If you have several referrals going, add a nickname like "George from basketball" so it's easy to spot in your list. Only you can see it.
Compare the agents who apply
Open your referral from My Referrals > Created and click View Applicants.
For each applicant, you’ll see:
- Their application note, where they make their case for the referral
- Their production stats, which you can sort by total sales, active listings or properties sold
- Their full profile, including bio and service areas
Message any applicant to ask follow-up questions. Each conversation is private, so applicants can’t see each other’s messages.
For the full steps to post, select an applicant and send the agreement - see Sending a referral in Referral Central.
Message agents before you decide
You can message any agent who uses Referral Central to check whether they’re a good fit, confirm they cover your client’s area, or ask whether they have capacity. Messaging doesn’t commit you to anything.
See Messaging in Referral Central for more information.
See Sending a Referral for next steps: Entering your client information and sending the referral agreement.
Frequently asked questions
Can I search for agents who speak a particular language?
Not yet. Check the languages listed on each agent’s profile. Language filters are coming.
Will I get an email when someone messages me?
Not yet. Watch for the unread indicator at the top of Referral Central and in your Messages.
Does messaging an agent commit me to sending them a referral?
No. A General conversation is just a conversation. Nothing is sent until you click Select Agent and complete the referral.
Can applicants see each other, or my conversations with other applicants?
No. Each applicant sees only their own application and their own conversation with you.
Why don’t I see an agent’s production stats?
Some agents choose to hide their stats from other agents. You can still see their bio, service area and other profile details.
What does "Not yet onboarded" mean on an agent's profile?
That agent hasn't set up their Referral Central profile yet. Their service area is estimated from their reZEN record rather than chosen by them, so treat the coverage as a starting point and confirm it before you refer. Their production stats are accurate, they're the same numbers reZEN holds for them.
You can still send them a referral directly. They'll get the Referral Agreement by email from Real Signature and can sign it without ever opening Referral Central. What you can't do is message them, since Messages isn't available to them until they set up. They also can't apply to referrals on the Board, so a direct send is the only way to reach them.
