Can I teach in Real Academy if I’m not an Elite agent?
Yes. You don’t need Elite status to teach in Real Academy. If you have experience or insights that can help fellow agents succeed—systems, scripts, strategies—we want to hear from you.
But to be eligible for the Cultural Stock Award, you do need to meet Elite Agent production benchmarks. Teaching is open to all. Stock awards are based on both eligibility and performance.
What are the steps to become a Real Academy Instructor?
There are four clear steps:
- Complete Instructor Training – This includes guides, tutorials, and tools to help you record and create quality content:
- Build Your Masterclass using Drew’s 4MAT Presentation Pro GPT to structure your content
- Submit your final files via the Final Submission Form
Once reviewed and approved, your class will go live on the platform.
What exactly do I need to submit?
To build your course page inside Real Academy, you need to provide:
- Course Title & Duration – Example: “How to Convert Leads in 5 Minutes or Less” (45 minutes total)
- Intro Video – 60 to 120 seconds, MP4 or MOV format. This goes at the top of your class page.
- “What’s In It For Me?” Description – 3–5 sentence summary of what agents will gain. This is what hooks them.
- Video Modules – Bite-sized (ideally 5–15 minutes). Submit each module as a separate file (we do not edit or trim).
- Thumbnails for Each Module – Screenshot from the video (not artwork), JPG/PNG, 1920x1080.
- Module Titles & Descriptions – Keep it concise and value-driven.
- Instructor Headshot – High-res, professional photo.
- Instructor Bio – 3–5 sentences on your background, expertise, and achievements.
- Optional: Social Media Links – One per platform (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X).
Do I need to edit or trim my videos?
Yes. You are responsible for editing and trimming all videos before submission. Your files must be clean, final, and upload-ready. Real Academy does not provide editing support.
How long will it take for my class to go live?
If your submission is complete and follows all formatting guidelines, you can expect your class to go live within one week. The timeline depends on the submission queue and the quality/completeness of your content.
Will my “What’s In It For Me?” section or bio be edited?
Possibly. The Real Academy team may make light edits for clarity, consistency, and length. Our goal is to keep everything polished and easy to understand while preserving your voice.
Do I need to reformat my old classes?
Yes. Any class created prior to May 14, 2025, must be updated to meet the new structure and standards. All legacy classes were removed to make room for the improved Academy experience. We are no longer hosting classes in the old format.
Masterclass vs. Workshop
What’s the difference?
You’re expected to do both.
Masterclass:
- Pre-recorded
- Hosted on Real Academy
- Broken into 3–6 minute modules (Ideally less than 10 toal modules)
- Eligible for Cultural Stock Award
- Visible to Real agents anytime.
Workshop:
- Live, 30-minute session
- Designed to promote your Masterclass and engage with your audience
- Includes Q&A, previews, or deep dives into your content
- Required for publishing your class
Think of your Masterclass as the core, and your Workshop as the event that drives people to it.
How do I schedule my live Workshop?
When you fill out the Final Submission Form, you’ll be asked to provide your preferred schedule for a live workshop. The Real Academy Team will coordinate with you and add it to the official calendar.
