ProTeams: How to add a team fee to a transaction

If your team charges a fee in addition to the percentage-based commission, you can enter it as additional commission in reZEN. 

• Example: some teams charge a 3% commission plus a flat $299 fee per transaction. 

How to add a team fee to a transaction

To add a team fee:

• Go to the My Transactions page in reZEN and select the transaction to which you will add the fee.
• Navigate to the Details page and scroll to the Additional Fees & Rebates section.  Then, select + Add Fees & Rebates.

Next, choose Additional Commission from the Fee Type drop down and enter the information for your team fee and click Save.

• If the team is payable to the Team Leader, select the Team Leader under “who is receiving this amount”
• If the fee is split between two people, you will need to enter the fee twice and allocate the correct amount to each person. 
  • Example: If you charge a $500 fee that is split between two team leaders, you will enter a $250 fee to Team Leader 1 and a $250 fee to Team Leader 2.

That’s it!  Now you will see your gross commission increased by the amount of your team fee.

• Note:  Additional commissions are subject to a 15% split to Real.

How to pay Transaction Coordinator

If some or all of your team fee is passed along to your transaction coordinator, you can add a Transaction Coordinator Fee.

Create a Transaction Coordinator Fee by navigating back to + Add Fees & Rebates.

This time, select Transaction Coordinator Fee from the dropdown. Select the agent paying the fee - which is typically the same agent who collected the team fee.  Enter the amount and the TC's name so it can be noted on the commission document.  Then, click Save.

Now, you have charged the team fee which has been added to your Gross Commission, and you have added a Transaction Coordinator fee to pay your TC from that Team Fee.  In the payment participant section, you will see your Gross (Total) increased by the amount of your Team Fee, and the TC Fee deducted from your net payout.
