What happens to my packet if I edit a template?

If you edit/change a template, that template will be updated in all your packets where you use the template. 

If you want to create a new packet or modify your packet for a different scenario, consider making a copy. When you make a copy, Real Signature creates a new version of each document inside the packet. 

Example:

• If you are missing a field, edit the template. This is likely something you want to apply to all uses of the template. 
• If you mis-labeled a field, edit the template. This is likely something you want to apply to all uses of the template. 
• If you want to use a "Seller Version" of an agreement to create a "Buyer Version" of a template, make a copy. You likely want to change the senders and document fields to apply to the Buyer.
