Real Retirement: FAQs

Is this Retroactive 3 years with Real or starting Jan 1, 2024?

Real Retirement is based on the date you first became producing at Real. 

• Example: If I joined Real on February 1, 2020, I will celebrate my 4 year anniversary on February 1, 2024. Am I eligible for retirement? Or does the "clock start ticking" on January 1, 2024? 
• Answer: Trick Question! Real Retirement will be calculated based on when you became producing. If you became producing April 5, 2020 and stayed producing for 3 years, you will be eligible for Real Retirement. 

Do I need to be producing for the entire time to be eligible for Real Retirement?

Yes. You must be producing for 3 consecutive years, with no breaks in production status to be eligible. And to earn the higher payouts for 4 and 5 years, you must be producing the entire time, with no breaks in production. 

Are Real Select (referral only) agents eligible to participate?

Yes. As long as you meet the requirement for producing, you are eligible.
