The Team Split is a fee paid by a Team Member to Team Leader on each transaction. The Team Split is governed by the Team Addendum on file with Real.
Here's how it works:
- We multiply the Gross Commission Income (GCI) by the Team Split (%) - to figure out how much of the deal is allocated to the Team Member vs. Team Leader.
- This is subtracted from the Team Member's GCI and will appear as a payment to the Team Leader.
- Then, we will subtract the Split to Real and any fees.
- The Split to Real is calculated based on the amount each member earns on a deal.
Please note: the team split is paid even after you cap with Real. Your Team Leader may offer a Team Cap, learn more: ProTeams: What is a Team Cap?
Example:
- Team Member earns $10,000 GCI and has a 10% split with Team Lead
- $9,000 allocated to Team Member
- $1,000 allocated to Team Lead
- The Team Member will pay $1,350 Split to Real ($9,000 x 15%)
- The Team Leader will pay $150 Split to Real ($1,000 x 15%)
