Get rewarded when agents you invite to the company join Real.
Agents who bring other agents to Real as a sponsor are eligible for a pre-defined portion of Real’s 15% split. Real’s revenue share model is unique because higher percentages are awarded for the initial tiers of agents. We choose to give our marketing dollars back to our agents for helping us grow the company.
How does Revenue Share work?
Simply put: If you bring another agent to Real, you are eligible for a portion of Real's Revenue (the 15% split). No signup is necessary! Here is how it works:
Step 1: Sponsor an agent.
In order to earn Revenue Share, you must sponsor an agent. This means:
- you build a relationship with a licensed agent;
- work with the agent to understand our business model and potential benefits;
- are listed on the ICA as the person who was most influential in their decision to become an agent with Real; and
- once they join, you work with them to be successful.
If you complete all of the above steps, you will be listed as the person's Sponsor!
Please note: you must be listed as the Sponsoring Agent in that agent's Independent Contractor Agreement to be counted as a Sponsor. Once the Independent Contractor Agreement is signed, the name listed will not be changed for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to divorces or an agent leaving a team.

Step 2: Work with your agent to be successful
Once you are listed as a Sponsor, the agent you attracted must earn revenue so we can share it with you. Remember: You only earn Revenue Share if the agents you sponsor are successful.
We are a production-based company, which means Revenue Share is only earned on real estate transactions that generate revenue to Real (commission income).
- Personal deal fees do not count
- Brokerage fees do not count
- CBR fees do not count
- Post Cap fees do not count (if the agent is Capped, their Sponsor will not receive Revenue Share)
Agents do not have to meet the Producing Agent Policy requirements for their Sponsor to receive Revenue Share from their closed transactions. However, they do have to meet these requirements to be unlocked to count toward opening a new tier. Learn more: US Producing Agent Policy
6-month Grace Period:
To make things easier for agents who just joined, agents are eligible to receive revenue share for the first six months - without meeting the Producing Agent requirement or Tier unlock requirement. This means:
- You can attract agents to Real and start earning right away;
- You have six months to build your production business and meet the Producing Agent Policy requirements; and
- During your first six months, all the agents you attract will count toward Tier Unlock - so as soon as you attract enough agents to Real, your Tiers will unlock.
The grace period is granted only once, and once it ends, agents must contribute enough revenue to be considered producing.

Sponsors must meet the Producing Agent Policy to receive Revenue Share
In addition to helping the agents you Sponsor be successful, you must lead by example. Which means: you must also contribute $450 in Revenue to Real in the last 6-months (rolling period) - or you won't be eligible to receive Revenue Share. You can read all the details here: US Producing Agent Policy.
Step 3: Earn a portion of Commission Income
It's that simple! When an agent you Sponsor earns commission income and pays a commission split to Real, you will receive a portion of Real's Revenue. So that 15% that goes to Real? ...Part of it goes to you!
Please note: Maximums Apply - see What is the maximum amount of Revenue Share I can Earn?
Revenue Share Fees:
An annual $175 revenue share program participation fee will be deducted from the first revenue share payment on the participating agent’s anniversary year; and each subsequent revenue share payment will be assessed with a 1.2% processing fee.
Important Note for U.S. Agents: Beginning September 1, 2026, all U.S. agents must have a Real Wallet Business Checking Account to receive Revenue Share payments. Revenue Share will only be deposited into a Real Wallet Business Checking Account.
To avoid any interruption in your Revenue Share payments, please set up your Business Checking Account before September 1 by following the instructions below:
- Applying for a Real Wallet Business Checking Account(Individual/Sole Proprietor)
- Applying for a Real Wallet Business Checking Account(Business/LLC)
Another way to earn: Unlock Tiers.
You can also earn a portion of commission income if agents you Sponsor start to Sponsor other agents.
Tiers are unlocked through 3 potential paths. Learn more about how to unlock Tiers: How do I unlock Tiers?
