Will I cap faster if I pay my teammates cap?

No. Reminder: Covering a portion of the team members’ fees does not change capping or elite agent status. Capping progress is based on your participation in the deal. 

Example:

• Team Mate closes a deal with $10,000 GCI
• Team Mate pays 25% to his Team Leader (Shane Bralove)
• Team Leader (Shane Bralove) pays all of Team Mates Split & Fees to Real. 

What is Team Mate Cap Contribution? What is Team Leader (Shane Bralove)'s cap contribution? 

• Team Mate contributes $1,125 to his Cap (his side of the deal - $7,500 * 15%)
• Team Leader contributes $375 to his Cap (his side of the deal - $2,500 * 15%) 

Even though Team Leader (Shane Bralove) paid the cap, the cap credit goes to Team Mate's cap.
