If you are licensed in Kentucky, Nebraska, Mississippi, or Louisiana, you must purchase your own E&O insurance to stay compliant with State Law. This is a state requirement and is not covered by Real.
State | Requirement | How to purchase |
Kentucky |
ALL Kentucky agents must purchase Kentucky RISC E&O coverage PRIOR to completing onboarding.
Real does not cover your E&O Insurance. |
|
Mississippi |
ALL Mississippi agents must purchase Kentucky RISC E&O coverage PRIOR to completing onboarding.
Real does not cover your E&O Insurance. |
|
Nebraska |
ALL Nebraska agents must purchase Kentucky RISC E&O coverage PRIOR to completing onboarding.
Real does not cover your E&O Insurance. |
|
Tennessee |
Effective 1/1/2025, you cannot transfer your license to Real until proof of E&O Insurance is received. ALL Tennessee agents must purchase RISC E&O coverage PRIOR to completing onboarding. TREC rules state that agents may purchase other coverage but it MUST be the same or equivalent to the state policy which has a $1,000 deductible, REAL's policy does not meet that requirement. So we are directing agents to purchase an individual policy to meet that requirement and REALs policy will be a secondary insurance for TN agents. |
